Kaizer Chiefs star set for massive salary cut at Amakhosi?

Kaizer Chiefs legend Itumeleng Khune has a major decision to make over his future at the club!

According to reports, Khune has been offered a contract extension at the club however he’ll have to accept a salary cut if he wishes to remain a Glamour Boy!

Khune’s current contract comes to a close at the end of the month. And the Amakhosi legend is believed to be one of the top earners at the club!

“There have been several meetings this week as Kaizer Chiefs are expected to make an announcement soon. Khune is set to stay, but not on the same lucrative earnings he has been on at Chiefs.” a source told KickOff.

In other news, Swallows FC chairman David Mogashoa has confirmed that he’ll be willing to re-sign struggling Kaizer Chiefs defender Njabulo Ngcobo.

Ngcobo has struggled to replicate the form that saw him win the Defender of The Season award with Swallows.

Despite being at Naturena for two seasons now, Ngcobo hasn’t adjusted to life as a Glamour Boy.

And now, Swallows FC chairman David Mogashoa has offered him a ‘get out of jail free’ card!

Swallows FC chairman ready to sign Amakhosi flop

“Very disappointed, I think he’s also disappointed that he did not get game time. I’m open to talks if they (Kaizer Chiefs) want to send him out, I’m willing to take him.” – Swallows FC chairman David Mogashoa told SoccerLaduma.

“He did very well at Swallows. I always say to people the pressure at Swallows is not the same pressure at Chiefs. You can be a very good player at Swallows and be a bad player at Chiefs.”
