Swallows FC chairman David Mogashoa has confirmed that he’ll be willing to re-sign struggling Kaizer Chiefs defender Njabulo Ngcobo.

Ngcobo has struggled to replicate the form that saw him win the Defender of The Season award with Swallows.

Despite being at Naturena for two seasons now, Ngcobo hasn’t adjusted to life as a Glamour Boy.

And now, Swallows FC chairman David Mogashoa has offered him a ‘get out of jail free’ card!

“Very disappointed, I think he’s also disappointed that he did not get game time. I’m open to talks if they (Kaizer Chiefs) want to send him out, I’m willing to take him.” – Swallows FC chairman David Mogashoa told SoccerLaduma.

“He did very well at Swallows. I always say to people the pressure at Swallows is not the same pressure at Chiefs. You can be a very good player at Swallows and be a bad player at Chiefs.”

In other news, Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly keeping tabs on Brandon Truter’s situation at Sekhukhune United ahead of a potential move to Naturena.

Truter enjoyed a solid campaign in the DStv Premiership after guiding Sekhukhune United to the CAF Confederations Cup.

United qualified via their Nedbank Cup finalists performance. The club also finished in the top eight.

Arthur Zwane’s maiden season on the other hand in charge of the Glamour Boys was largely underwhelming.

The former academy coach crashed out of both the MTN8 and Nedbank Cup at the semi-final stages in each competition.

Kaizer Chiefs also finished in fifth position in the DStv Premiership, missing out on both the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup.

According to the latest reports, the Glamour Boys are considering taking a co-coaching approach and Truter is being monitored!

“Kaizer Chiefs has been monitoring the progress of Brandon Truter with interest. The thought of him strengthening their technical team has been bandied about.” a source told SoccerLaduma.

“The club isn’t considering firing Arthur Zwane just yet but need someone with experience to work with him.

“There is also Polokwane City that is interested in Truter. The club is prepared to offer him big money to coach the team in their first season back in the topflight.

“There is an option on Truter’s contract at Sekhukhune, but it has not yet been activated.”
