Orlando Pirates and Sekhukhune United have announced their starting line-ups for this evening’s Nedbank Cup final at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
Out of 32 teams, there’s only two left that will battle it out for the final domestic trophy of the 2022/23 campaign.
The Buccaneers have a chance to finish the 2022/23 season with two trophies after lifting MTN8 seven months ago.
It would mark a season to remember for The Sea Robbers despite not winning the league. They finished the season in second placed and qualified for CAF Champions League.
Babina Noko, meanwhile, also experienced an incredible turnaround under Brandon Truter, who found the club in 15th place.
But from fighting for relegation, Sekhukhune also finished the season on high, ending in seventh place to qualify for the MTN8 next season, while also booking their for CAF Confederations Cup by virtue of reaching the Nedbank Cup final.
These two sides faced each other two weeks ago and the game ended in a 1-1 draw, while Sekhukhune beat Pirates in the home fixture earlier in the season.
