Buhle Maseko, widely recognized for his portrayal of Nimza on the television show Skeem Saam, has recently entered the property industry. On Tuesday, he announced this news on his Instagram account: “For all your property needs, feel free to get in touch with me.” In an interview with Journalists, Buhle revealed that becoming a real estate agent had always been a dream of his, and he was thrilled to finally be able to pursue this new venture.
“It’s something I wanted to do for some time and I was researching how to get into it. Covid-19 stopped everything. Finally I was approached by an agency and they said they wanted to give me an opportunity for something I wanted to do,” he said.
“When Covid-19 happened it was very unfortunate, but that prompted me to go in a different direction.”
After experiencing the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, Buhle has decided to diversify his interests. He has expanded his pursuits to include DJing, acting, and real estate, and has developed a strategy to manage all of these endeavors simultaneously.
“I am forced to make time, and I guess giving all aspects of what I do a bit of time makes it a bit better, and also having a team around me that assists and see things before they happen.”
Buhle has plans to release new music in the near future. Through this endeavor, he hopes to shine a light on emerging artists and provide them with a platform to showcase their talents.
“What I am focusing on is trying to get new talent from parts of SA where they don’t get exposure. I know how difficult it is. Every time I go to gigs I try to reach out and make contact with people coming into the game. There will be new people who are going to be exposed to the industry.”
