Chippa United and head coach Lehlohonolo Seema have parted ways after just four games in charge after he retained their top-flight status.
Seema returned for another stint at the Chili Boys as a last resort after the sackings of Morgan Mammila, Kurt Letjies, and Siyabulela Gwambi in short space of two months.
And the dramatic 3-2 win over Richards Bay and 0-0 draw on the final day of the season was enough to steer them clear of relegation from the DStv Premiership.
This website reported earlier this week that Mammila is now being earmarked to return ahead of next season with Seema officially parting ways on Saturday.
“It’s done, it was a call for four games, he told me he won’t continue with me, he has another plan, so yeah, I’m jobless as we speak,” he confirmed to iDiski Times.
“Hopefully the next team can provide an opportunity for a whole season and I can push myself again, but definitely not continuing with Chippa, spoke to the Chairman and he indicated he won’t be continuing with me for next season.”
The former Orlando Pirates captain coached the now-defunct Bloemfontein Celtic, Black Leopards and Golden Arrows in between his separate stints with the Chili Boys.
