Top 3 Unchanged In Hollywoodbets Super League

The top three remained unchanged after round 14 of the Hollywoodbets Super League, with Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies retaining top position with 37 points.

Goals from Lelona Daweti and Melinda Kgadiete in the first and second halves respectively were enough as Sundowns beat University of Johannesburg (UJ) 2-1. UJ dropped to ninth place with 20 points from 14 matches.

In the mother city, Fikile Magama and Khanya Xesi were on target in the second half to help University of Western Cape (UWC) maintain second spot on the standings with a 2-0 win over JVW FC. UWC now have 36 points from 14 matches, while the Blue Diamonds remained in fifth place on the log, tied on 27 points with Royal AM ahead of them also from 14 encounters.

TS Galaxy Queens missed an opportunity to close in on UWC, as they were held to a goalless draw by First Touch Academy at the Solomon Mahlangu Stadium. Sizwe Sibiya’s charges remain in third position with 31 points, while the Limpopo side are 12th, equal on 15 points with Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) in 11th spot both from 14 games.
