Former Orlando Pirates striker Jimmy Kauleza has praised teenager Relebogile Ratomo and compared him to Bucs legend Steve Lekoelea.
Ratomo, 18, made his first team debut for the Sea Robbers in their 1-1 draw with Royal AM, where he almost scored his first senior goal, but his shot got deflected into his own net by Elias Pelembe and it was rated an own goal.
But the youngster has made a good impression at Pirates, with Kauleza, who played for the Sea Robbers in the early 2000s, also singing praises on him.
The 45-year-old spent five years at Pirates before moving to Jomo Cosmos in 2005. He played a lot with ‘Chippa’ Lekoelea, and when he saw the impressive debut of Ratomo he revealed he reminds him of the Pirates legend.
“Relebogile Ratomo is a good player, he reminds me of Steve Lekoelea and they’re from the same place in Vaal,” Kauleza told Siya Gijana Soccer Reports.
“He must focus in his football career, work hard, do extra training, wake up every morning and go for a road work.
“I’ll speak with Steve Lekoelea to speak with him about how a professional player conducts himself.”
