The match gets underway at 15:00.

Amakhosi, who are in fourth place in the standings, would miss out on continental football altogether next season if they fail to beat Matsatsantsa.

SuperSport United are in third spot, two points behind Orlando Pirates, who occupy the coveted second and final CAF Champions League spot.

Meanwhile, SuperSport United are unbeaten in their last five matches and are coming off the back of a 0-0 draw with Stellenbosch FC.

SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt has added spice to the occasion as he suggested Kaizer Chiefs spent a lot of money for ‘nothing’ this season.

“You have to compare what we have spent with the other teams. We have not spent R1 on any player this season in comparison to how the opposition have spent,” said the four-time league winner.

“I always judge it like that and I think that is a better reflection of how my small squad has done this season. We played a lot of youngsters in the beginning and we got a few guys in (on loan) so it balanced out quite nicely because there were no funds to buy anybody and I knew that when I got here.”

Meanwhile, Amakhosi boss Arthur Zwane insists the season will not be a failure if his side don’t qualify for continental football.

“If it (finishing third to qualify for the Confederation Cup) didn’t happen, it doesn’t mean it was a bad season altogether. I think with the new squad and also giving a lot of youngsters (opportunities), coming from our own development, it’s been a good season,” Zwane told the media.

When the sides last met – in September last year – Kaizer Chiefs ran out 2-1 winners.
