TS Galaxy Queens Move Into Top 3

New kids on the block TS Galaxy Queens defeated Richmond United 5-0 to overtake them on the log and break into the top three of the Hollywoodbets Super League.

Veteran midfielder Mamello Makhabane was on the score sheet, as Busisiwe Ndimeni grabbed a second-half brace and Nomvula Kgoale also netted for the Mpumalanga based outfit. Nicole Michael continued to impress for the rookies as she was also on the score-sheet and winning the Player of the Match accolade.  

The Queens swapped places with Richmond, who are now in fourth position with 24 points from 12 matches.

University of Western Cape (UWC) saw off Royal AM with a 3-0 score-line at Parrow Park to maintain their place at the summit of the log with 33 points. The KwaZulu-Natal side dropped to sixth position with 21 points from the same number of matches.

Defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies were ruthless in Emalahleni as they ran over Coal City Wizards, scoring nine goals against the home side without reply.

Boitumelo Rabale scored a hat-trick, Chuene Morifi a brace on her way to getting the Player of the Match award, Melinda Kgadiete also grabbed a brace, while Regina Mogolola and Miche Minnies also found the back of the net.

Sundowns remain in second place on the table with 31 points from 12 outings. The Wizards remain second from bottom, equal on seven points with City Lads who lost 3-1 to First Touch Academy above them, from 12 encounters.
