Musa Ngema, a former Generations: The Legacy actor, is reportedly headed to Turfloop. The actor, who had played Mazwi Moroka in the show for nearly a decade, quit in April, after his character was killed off.
According to Zimoja, Ngema was sighted ‘near Skeem Saam offices.’ According to the source, the people at Skeem Saam were happy he was let go since it meant more numbers for them.
“Skeem Saam wants to surpass Generations in terms of popularity and numbers, lately they have been trending almost every day,” said the source.
Ngema was reportedly ‘shown the door’ for being ‘difficult.’ His relationship with the team was said to be ‘strained.’
In other news,Helen Bright, who plays Melita Monama on Skeem Saam, was attacked by an enraged elderly fan because of her character.
Melita is a homewrecker who has wrecked a few homes in Turfloop. The older 60-year-old fan had clearly had enough and took it upon herself to deal with the character.
“She hit me in the heel with a trolley. When I looked at her, she said, ‘I did it purposely because you are stealing other women’s husbands.
“I swear if you do that to my husband, I will deal with you.’ It was only then that it hit me that she thought I was Melita,” said Bright whose heart sank after the incident.
