Rachel breaks silence post Siya Kolisi’s surgery

On Sunday, 30 April, Rachel Kolisi took to her Instagram to post about her husband’s surgery and had rugby fans and her online followers sending him prayers and get-well-soon messages.

‘POSITIVE ATTITUDE’: RACHEL ON SIYA KOLISI’S KNEE-SURGERY

Earlier this year, Siya announced that he and his family would be joining the French club, Racing 92, and that they would relocate to Europe soon after the Rugby World Cup.

However, recently, the Springbok and Sharks rugby captain underwent a knee operation and is now patiently waiting to recover, East Coast Radio reported.

His wife, Rachel, thanked all his fans for the love and support shown towards Siya during this time, saying,

“What. A. Week. By God’s beautiful grace, we made it!

“I can’t thank you all enough for every bit of love and support but above everything the prayers 🥹❤️”

She then gushed over her husband and wrote,

“ [I am] forever in awe of @siyakolisi and his ability to face challenges head-on, and with such a positive attitude.”

“Still believing for a miracle. Hope you all had an opportunity to rest, this weekend and, soak up those you love most ❤️,” she concluded.

After seeing Rachel’s posts, rugby fans and her online followers praised her for forever seeming calm, collected, and graceful.

Meanwhile, the rest of her 340K Instagram followers wished Siya a speedy recovery.
