Zwane Reveals Two New Chiefs Injuries

Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane has revealed that Caleb-Bonfils Bimenyimana and Edmilson Dove picked up injuries ahead of their clash against Swallows.
Amakhosi suffered a huge blow after Keagan Dolly has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.
But the Chiefs captain isn’t the only one with a new injury, as striker Caleb-Bonfils Bimenyimana and Edmilson Dove are also sidelined.
“That’s the nature of the game,” Zwane told SuperSport TV when asked about Chiefs’ injury situation ahead of the Swallows game.
“At the end of the day we’re having a 30-member squad ready for injuries and suspension.
“Luckily for us, coming into this game, S’fiso [Hlanti] and [Siyethemba] Sithebe back from suspension.
“But we’ve lost Keagan Dolly, and also Caleb [Bimenyimana] pulled out last minute in training yesterday (Wednesday).
“Dove, as well, got a niggling ankle injury. So we’re trying to manage them. The games have been coming thick and fast, so we’re trying to manage the players, knowing that we’re playing again on Monday.”
At the same time Zwane insisted that the injuries are a chance for other players, who played a more peripheral role in his squad to step up.
“We also welcome back some of the players who have not been playing regularly, which is their chance now to showcase their talent – the likes of Happy and Mapholoba (Njabulo Ngcobo),” he added.
Mashiane feature for 71 minutes in Chiefs’ 1-0 win over the Dube Birds on Freedom Day, while Ngcobo completed his first league game since November.
