‘Please do this for my husband’ ,Babes Wodumo requests fans to vote for ‘Ngeke’ at Metro FM Awards

Babes Wodumo has made a heartfelt appeal to her fans to vote for Big Nuz’s song ‘Ngeke’, which has received nominations in several categories at the Metro FM Awards. With only two weeks remaining before the 17th edition of the awards ceremony commences after a long break, the musician took to Mampintsha’s Facebook account to go live and express how much this nomination would have meant to her late husband.

“Siya vota. Please vote for Big Nuz. Please make sure you vote for Big Nuz. So guys please do me a favour and vote. I will dance. They’ve been nominated in the best duo, best kwaito/gqom and song of the year. Please do this for my husband if he were here he would’ve been happy,” she said.

The Metro FM Awards are scheduled to take place on May 6th at the Mbombela Stadium in Mbombela, Mpumalanga. The event will be broadcast live on SABC1 for viewers to enjoy. Mampintsha, Babes Wodumo’s late husband, passed away on December 24th due to complications following a stroke. In honour of Valentine’s Day, Babes paid a visit to her husband’s grave and shared a photo of herself at the site.

“Wow after so many years this is the first Valentine’s Day without you sthandwa sam. Today women out there are celebrating with loved ones, but me being here today makes it different from others. I forever cherish days we shared together. Ngyazi ujabulile ukungbona,” she captioned her post.
