Marumo Gallants have left South Africa this afternoon for Egypt ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final first leg at Pyramids.

After Gallants’ controversial trip to Libya last month, which saw two members of their staff being detained over payment issues and only return home two weeks after the team came back.

Bahlabane Ba Ntwaa made sure this time around that there are no hiccups in their trip to Cairo, Egypt.

This publication contacted a close source within the club, who informed iDiski Times that everything is sorted and the club has left this afternoon and players are ready to fight and return home with positive results.

“We’re leaving now, we are on our way to OR Tambo International Airport, we will go via Addis Ababa Bole International Airport. Then from there we going to Egypt,” the source told iDiski Times.

“Everybody is here. The players are ready to fight and return home with some positive results.”

It has been a tight a schedule for Gallants, as they’ve been busy with DStv Premiership relegation survival and travelling around Africa for their CAFCC.

Sunday’s match will be number six in 21 days, but despite the hectic schedule Gallants have won three out of their last five games and climbed off the foot of the DStv Premiership table into 13th.
