SuperSport United midfielder Zukile Kewuti has attracted interest from an unnamed Indonesian Liga 1 club.

Kewuti joined SuperSport United in January after parting ways with Maritzburg United in 2022.

The former Cape Town City midfielder signed a deal until the end of the season with Matsatsantsa after impressing Gavin Hunt on a trial with the club.

Hunt highly praised the signing of Kewuti, mentioning that he can play more than one position.

Kewuti has played as a left-back at Maritzburg United but has mainly been used as a defensive midfielder by Hunt.

However, he last played a competitive match at SuperSport in early March when they defeated Cape Town City 2-0, coming on as a substitute on the 82nd minute.

According to a close source it is not clear whether SuperSport will renew his contract that ends at the end of the campaign and iDiski Times has learnt that there are several clubs outside the country that are interested in signing the utility player, in particular one from Indonesia.

Kewuti has made 68 senior appearances during his stints at CT City (31), Maritzburg (19), AmaZulu (14) and SSU (4).
