Patriotic Youth Alliance leadership paid Nhlanhla Lux a visit after his home came under attack during the National Shutdown earlier this month.
PATRIOTIC YOUTH ALLIANCE DELEGATES PUT POLITICAL DIFFERENCES ASIDE
President General Bonginkosi Khanyile and Deputy Secretary General Devenay Rayners led a delegation of the Patriotic Youth Alliance leaders to visit the President of Soweto Parliament Nhlanhla Lux’s home on Tuesday, 28 March.
This after 3 commercial bombs were thrown on his house on 20 March 2023.

“It doesn’t matter the political differences at play, the fact of the matter is no one should have his or her house boomed. The incident that took place at Nhlanhla Lux’s home is regrettable. The politicians involved should bury their heads in shame.”

NHLANHLA LUX MESSES WITH THE EFF SHUTDOWN
Nhlanhla Lux was quick to blame the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) for the incident after leading a campaign that opposed the shutdown on the day.
Lux threatened to arrest the leader of the EFF Julius Malema should any rights be violated of any citizen living in this country.

During a press conference reflecting on the Shutdown, Malema rubbished and reduced the bombing allegation to a fairytale (movie).
Since the bombing incident, the Soweto Parliament President has enjoyed visits from Police Minister Bheki Cele together with the top brass in the South African Police Service.
WHAT HAS HAPPENED WITH THE CASE
Besides the damage to some neighbours’ windows, no injuries were reported although Lux claimed his family to have succumbed to the bombing initially.
This matter is carefully being investigated by police, Cele indicated in an interview earlier this month.
ABOUT THE PATRIOTIC YOUTH ALLIANCE:
The Patriotic Youth Alliance was formed last year in an effort to strengthen its youth structure. During its formation, it called for youth members aged between 16 and 35 to join the movement.
