Rumours are circulating that Durban businessman Kgolo Mthembu, also known as “DaGuru,” is being unfaithful to his reality TV star wife, Annie Mthembu, with fitness enthusiast Sbahle Mpisane. This allegation was made by the gossip blog Maphephandaba, which posted screenshots as proof.

On Thursday, 17 March, there were rumours circulating on the grapevine that Kgolo Mthembu had been spotted holding hands with Sbahle Mpisane – the daughter of wealthy ex-policeman Sbu Mpisane and stepdaughter of multi-millionaire and Royal AM Football Club president Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize. These rumours were later corroborated when a gossip account posted screenshots of the allegation.

“Goodmorning admin isigaxa phela [a bombshell I saw Sbahle Mpisane with Kgolodaguru at capital hotel in Durban on monday they were even holding hands I couldn’t take a picture because I was with my bag [bae] him and kgolo greeted each other I feel sorry for anni that guy is trash,” an unnamed Instagram user wrote.

Sbahle Mpisane defends herself

Sbahle Mpisane, a fitness influencer, shared a screenshot of herself allegedly explaining her whereabouts. She stated that she had been alone at The Capital Pearls Hotel in Durban and then ordered mogodu [tripe] at Views – a grill and rooftop lounge owned by Kgolo.

“I don’t know why and how my name is involved here,” Sbahle Mpisane wrote.

In response, Annie replied “SMH [shaking my head]”. She also replied “yah neh”.
