Busy September for Kaizer Chiefs: SIX MATCHES

Posted on September 1, 2025

Kaizer Chiefs are set for a whirlwind September, juggling six matches in around three weeks. Nasrededine Nabi’s side, unbeaten in their opening five Betway Premiership games, will face tougher questions of their depth and resilience this month.

Amakhosi kick off the month against Sekhukhune United on 16 September, before heading to Angola to face Kabuscorp in the CAF Confederation Cup on 19 September.

KAIZER CHIEFS FIXTURES IN SEPTEMBER

The local duties won’t let up. TS Galaxy will follow in an away trip to Mbombela on 21 September, followed by a bus drive to Bloemfontein to battle Marumo Gallants on 24 September.

Kaizer Chiefs will then return home to wrap up their CAF group stage with a second leg in Soweto against Kabuscorp on 26 September.

Kaizer Chiefs fixtures in September:

  • 16 Sept – Sekhukhune United (home)
  • 19 Sept – Kabuscorp (away), CAF Confederation Cup
  • 21 Sept – TS Galaxy (away)
  • 24 Sept – Gallants (away)
  • 26 Sept – Kabuscorp (home), CAF Confederation Cup
  • 27 Sept – AmaZulu (home, likely to be postponed).

With domestic and continental ambitions colliding, squad rotation will be vital. Coach Nabi may need to shuffle his pack smartly, leaning on fringe players while keeping his core fresh for big moments.

It will be a demanding stretch, but if Kaizer Chiefs come through strong, September could be the month that defines their season.
