Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have announced their starting XIs for tonight’s crunch last-16 clash UEFA Champions League.
The Bundesliga giants host the Ligue 1 winners after collecting a 1-0 victory in Paris in the first leg.
They have lost just one of their last 23 games and scored at least once in each of those 23 games.
Out of their last 17 Champions League home games, Bayern have won and just lost one – a 3-2 home defeat to PSG in the 2020/21 season.
The Bavarians have progressed to the next round if UEFA competitions in 28 out of 29 when they won the first leg away from home.
PSG, meanwhile, who will be without Neymar after he has been ruled out until the end of the season, have overcome their recent rough patch of three defeats and won their last three games.
They scored 11 times over this run but also conceded five – with the club’s new record goalscorer netting five of those goals, while Lionel Messi scored three.
PSG have never overturned a first-leg home defeat in UEFA competitions and also lost the second leg on each of the six occasions.
Bayern have won four out of the last five head-to-head clashes with PSG, with their only defeat coming in 2021.
