Marumo Gallants and Mamelodi Sundowns have announced their starting line-ups for this evening’s Nedbank Cup last-16 encounter at Toyata Stadium.
Two busiest clubs in South Africa will battle this evening in Nedbank Cup round of 16 for a place in the quarter-finals.
Gallants, who has made it habit to compete in the CAF Confederations Cup, are yet again finding themselves on a tight schedule.
Bahlabane Baa Ntwaa lock to book a spot in the last eight of the tournament when they face Rulani Mokwena’s well-oiled Sundowns machine.
However, they will continue to battle without Nedbank Cup specialist, Dylan Kerr, who is yet to receive his work permit.
Meanwhile, the Nedbank Cup defending champions, who just landed few days ago from Egypt, will look to defend their title and keep hopes of winning another treble alive.
Downs will be without Sipho Mbule in this game after he received his fourth yellow card during a Man of the Match performance in the Nedbank Cup against Richards Bay FC in the previous round.
This won’t be the first time these two side face each other in tournament, as they’ve played each other last season in the final at Royal Bafokeng Stadium – Masandawana won the game 2-1 in extra-time, curtesy of Peter Shalulile and Thapelo Morena.
