Sibusiso Vilakazi has started training with Sekhukhune United after his exit from TS Galaxy last month.
Vilakazi departed Galaxy in the final days of the transfer window via mutual consent after falling out of favour under head coach Sead Ramovic.
The aftermath has seen a back on forth over his reported lack of work ethic, which his former coach Pitso Mosimane questioned when Ramovic made his initial statements.
After two weeks, Vilakazi himself stated he was surprised by the Bosnian’s stance on his exit and stated some personal issues took a strain on his professional life with the Rockets.
iDiski Times has now established the player started training with Brandon Truter’s squad this week as he looks to get straight back into action in the DStv Premiership.
‘Brakkies’ is a keen admirer of the 33-year-old and has been seeking a traditional number 10 to bolster his midfielder options.
Mozambique international Amancio Neymar Canhembe was with the club for three weeks but has since signed a short-term deal with UD Songo in the Mocombola after questions were raised over his match fitness.
The club also had a deadline day deal for Mduduzi Mdantsane fall through after the player rejected their contract offer, despite Babina Noko and City agreeing to terms for the deal.
