Venda Football Academy have suspended coach Simo Dladla with immediate effect, iDiski Times has learnt.
Others who have been suspended by the club are Joel Masutha and Kabelo Sibiya.
This after VFA lost 3-1 to fellow Limpopo side Baroka FC at the Global Stadium in Lebowakgomo on Saturday.
But after the management was not pleased as the VFA remained 13th on the Motsepe Foundation Championship with 18 points after 18 games, they suspended the trio of coaches.
“The coaches have been suspended at VFA after they lost to Baroka,” said the source.
“After the loss, VFA management was mad and this happened in front of our eyes.”
It will be interesting to see how VFA solve this situation as this was their second loss on the bounce to send alarm bells ringing with the club.
In these 18 matches, they have won just five, lost 10, and drew three to be sucked into the relegation dogfight.
It is not clear who will be on the bench when they host NB La Masia at Thohoyandou Stadium on Wednesday (15:30).
