Former ASEC Mimosas and TAS Casablanca striker Bernard Yao Kouassi has penned a two-and-a-half-year deal with TS Galaxy.
The towering striker, 28, has landed in South Africa after a two-year stint in India where he turned out for the likes of Real Kashmir, SC Bengaluru and Muthoot FA.
Standing at 1.92m tall he adds another dimension to the goal-shy Galaxy, who’ve netted 13 goals in 20 league outings this season.
iDiski Times can confirm the player received his work permit after signing his contract just before the transfer window shut last month.
He teams up with his Ivorian compatriot Djakaridja Traoré, who has spearheaded the Rockets attack in recent weeks with four goals in his opening 12 games.
Sead Ramovic’s side also lured Venezualan Yaimil Medina to the club in recent weeks as they look to retain their top-flight status as they sit five points above the drop zone.
