Motsepe Foundation Championship side Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) have confirmed their move from Limpopo to Bloemfontein.
This publication reported recently that the club was waiting for approval from the league so they can start setting up in the Free State later this month after the matter was brought before the Premier Soccer League’s board of governors in January.
The reasons for relocating are that their current home Thohoyandou is too expensive to play there and that they could not find suitable venues in the Vhembe region and Limpopo province.
The club has also had financial troubles and they hope the move will alleviate those. Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium in Mangaung has been earmarked as Vhadau vha Damani’s preferred home venue in the Free State.
Last week Monday, TTM started to travel to Bloemfontein, while the club confirmed on Tuesday they will now play all their home games at the Dr Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein.
Meanwhile there have been reports that the club was going to be sold but that has been put on ice.
