Pitso Hits Back At Ramovic Again

Pitso Mosimane has once again hit back at TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic over his comments about former Mamelodi Sundowns player Sibusiso Vilakazi.

Vilakazi left Galaxy two days before the closure of the January transfer window after both parties agreed to mutually terminate his contract.

There had since been no bad blood publicly between either party, despite reports that Vilakazi had been demoted to the DStv Diski Challenge team before his departure – which were denied by his agent Mike Makaab.

Last week, though, Ramovic explained his view on Vilakazi’s exit, insinuating that he didn’t train as well as other players, which lead to Mosimane defending his former player in response to a video with Ramovic’s comments posted by iDiski Times newspaper senior writer and SABC Sport journalist Velile Mnyandu.

However, that was seemingly not the end of their feud, as Ramovic then responded himself with a reported statement to Mosimane via the public broad coaster.

“Mr Mosimane, I don’t usually react when I see someone’s emotions controlling them.  But this time I’ll make an exception for you. I hope you will like my tone this time,” Ramovic said, as per SABC Sport.

“Vilakazi is a wonderful person, a really fantastic player, [who had] a nice career.  But we have just as many players who try very hard to start the same career and give everything every day.

“I would really like Vilakazi to continue his career.  Maybe he could continue in your team because you could certainly use his quality.

“I’m sure your chairman [at Al Ahli Saudi] would like to have success this year and not care too much about your great achievements six years ago. I wish you to continue your fantastic record as a coach.”

And Mosimane once again responded to the TS Galaxy coach, but getting a little more aggressive this time.

“Coach Ramovic, please sit down,” he wrote on social media.

“I was just protecting Sbu Vilakazi’s career that is still left with few years to go.

“You have to make top 8 and match [Dan] Dance’s Nedbank Cup record.

“Lets focus & be responsible Pro Licenced Coaches.”

It remains to be seen whether more punches will be thrown between the two coaches.
