Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Neo Bohloko became the youngest player to ever score a goal in the DStv Diski Challenge on the weekend.

The 14-year-old was introduced in the second half of the match between Amakhosi and Lamontville Golden Arrows at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium on Sunday.

The rising star made an instant impact on the match, as he scored the second goal to put the game into bed in the 80th minute after Mfundo ‘Obrigado’ Vilakazi had opened the score-line via a free-kick.

The goal made Bohloko the youngest player to ever score in DStv Diski Challenge, breaking the previous record set by former SuperSport United striker Sthembiso Kurata, who scored at the age of 15.

Bohloko made his Diski Challenge debut on 8 January 2023 when Ephefeni Glamour Boys played against Stellenbosch FC.
