Zwane Confirms Chiefs Injury Blows

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has confirmed a quadruple injury blow for his side.
The Glamour Boys beat Royal AM 2-0 last weekend but lost right-back Reeve Frosler and Dillan Solomons to injury.
Zwane now confirmed that Frosler will be absent for over a month.
“We lost two of our right-backs in the same game. Reeve has gone for an operation so he’s going to be out for at least six weeks,” Zwane told the club’s media department.
He also confirmed that attacking midfielder Khama Billiat and Nkosingiphile Ngcobo had to go under surgery.
“Khama has also gone for surgery, as has Nkosingiphile Ngcobo,” he added.
“We have never had such a situation in the team and it is quite disturbing, but it’s part of the game and we’re not going to dwell on it and complain.”
Earlier in the week, Zwane had already lamented that his side always seem to pick up injuries at the wrong time.
“That has actually been a problem, whenever the team starts doing well, we lose key players due to injuries or unforeseen circumstances,” he told journalists.
“We’re unfortunate in terms of that, but we’ll always come up solutions as coaches because we have a very good squad that we’ve assembled for the season.”
