Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Oupa Manyisa has successfully joined Motsepe Foundation Championship side La Masia.

The 34-year-old recently parted ways with Platinum City Rovers after joining them in 2021, making 27 appearances across the last two seasons for the club.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder was working with Ashwin Sutton at Rovers before he was appointed as the head coach of La Masia.

iDiskiTimes has learnt that Oupa Manyisa signed a six-month deal with La Masia, which will see him re-unite with Sutton again.

The Gauteng-based side are sitting right at the bottom of Motsepe Foundation Championship after collecting just 14 points in 15 games.

They hope Manyisa’s experience will help the newly-promoted team to survive relegation.

Manyisa also played for Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns, TTM and Chippa United, lifting five league trophies, one Telkom Knockout and two MTN8 cups throughout his career.
