Is Andile Mpisane joining Burnely following Lyle Foster’s move?

Royal AM chairman Andile Mpisane has been made the butt of many football jokes on social media.

On Wednesday 25 January when English Championship log leaders Burnely FC officially signed 22-year-old South African striker Lyle Foster, trolls started making fun of the Makhwapheni hitmaker.

FANS WANT ANDILE MPISANE TO JOIN LYLE FOSTER

Lyle Foster has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with former Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany ax his manager.

“Give a warm welcome to South African international Lyle Foster from Belgian side K.V.C. Westerlo for an undisclosed fee 🇿🇦

“The 22-year-old striker has penned a four-and-a-half-year deal at Turf Moor and becomes the Clarets’ third signing of the January transfer window,” Burnely wrote on Twitter.

Following the English side’s announcement on Twitter, and as fellow South Africans congratulated the former Orlando Pirates player, trolls told Burnely to also sign Andile Mpisane.

“We have another star… sign him next year,” said one Twitter user

MAMKHIZE DEFENDS HER SON

Andile Mpisane, who is also a father-of-three, has previously been trolled for his skills on the pitch and for his weight gain as fans questioned the Premier Soccer League (PSL) side’s squad selection criteria.

Addressing the naysayers in September last year, Andile’s mother and Royal AM president Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize told sportscaster Andile Ncube on Metro FM’s Sports Night Amplified that her son trains like the rest of the club’s players.

“There is one thing people don’t know about Andile, as much as he is my son, he goes to training like every player. He trains with the team and Andile is the one who brought me into soccer because of his love for football. I used to cheer for him when he used to play at AmaZulu,” she told Andile Ncube.
