Kaizer Chiefs have announced they have signed highly-rated defender Thatayaone Ditlhokwe on a pre-contract from Supersport United.
The 24-year-old will join the club in July when his deal with SuperSport expires, the club announced one Thursday.
“Kaizer Chiefs are delighted to announce the signing of a pre-contract securing the acquisition of left-sided centre-back, Thatayaone Ditlhokwe, from SuperSport United,” the club said.
“We look forward to welcoming him to Amakhosi.
“The highly rated international who captains Botswana’s national team has penned a four-year contract and will arrive to begin his life in Naturena in July 2023.”
The Botswana captain joined SSU form Township Rollers in January 2020 and has since made 75 appearances for the club, scoring three goals.
He has represented his country 21 times since making his debut in June 2018.
