Former Stellenbosch FC forward Judas Moseamedi is set to sign with Marumo Gallants, iDiski Times can confirm.
Moseamedi recently parted ways with Stellenbosch FC after spending one-and-half seasons with the Cape Winelands side. The 28-year-old made 32 appearances and scored six goals.
Before his time at Stellies, the ‘Tzaneen Express’ enjoyed his football at Maritzburg United where he he scored 15 goals in 74 appearances, with of them coming against Kaizer Chiefs and famously earning him the nickname ‘Chiefs Slayer’.
This publication has now learnt that Moseamedi will join Marumo Gallants imminently. Bahlabane Baba Ntwaa recently lost Junior Sede Dion to AmaZulu FC, with Moseamedi now seemingly earmarked as replacement of the Ivorian.
After Gallants 1-1 draw against Stellenbosch FC at Danie Craven Stadium, Dan Malesela lamented losing players and put pressure on the club’s management to find replacements.
“It’s unfortunate, you know. We’re losing players but we have to replace [as well],” Malesela told iDiski Times.
The former Free State Stars forward won the Telkom Knockout with Cape Town City in 2016/17 season, when he played all four matches and scored one goal in the final victory over SuperSport United.
