Nota Baloyi clarifies he was offered radio station ownership, not a hosting job

Nota Baloyi clears the air on radio gig claims after Sol Phenduka’s suspension

Music executive and outspoken media personality Nota Baloyi has set the record straight after reports suggested he was offered a radio hosting job following Sol Phenduka’s suspension from Kaya 959.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Nota dismissed the claims and clarified that the offer he received had nothing to do with him taking over as a presenter.

“Stop it… I was offered a radio station as in they want to give me shares not a job. My job would mean hiring talents like Sol Phenduka. Please clear that up!” he tweeted.

His clarification comes amid ongoing discussions about Phenduka’s immediate suspension from the station.

Nota made it clear, however, that his involvement would be on an ownership and management level, not as an on-air personality.
