Kaizer Chiefs might have to fight hard for their January transfer targets. Marumo Gallants winger Katlego Otladisa is one of them.
OTLADISA’S AGENT SAYS KAIZER CHIEFS HAVEN’T SPOKEN TO HIM
Nimrod Mbhalati, Marumo Gallants midfielder Katlego Otladisa’s agent, has responded to reports linking the player with a switch to the Glamour Boys in January.
Otladisa has been a long-standing target for Chiefs, according to reports from Goal and various other sources. Mbhalati claims that Chiefs have never approached their camp and describes reports linking his client to Kaizer Chiefs as “jokes.”
“I’ve seen those speculations, there is no truth in that. We are not talking to Chiefs,” Mbhalati told ThisIsFootball.Africa.
“Those are jokes, there is no truth. The only thing is, I think two PSL teams are talking to Marumo Gallants. But they haven’t spoken to me yet.”

IS OTLADISA WORTH THE HYPE?
Undoubtedly a star at Marumo Gallants, it’s uncertain whether the 26-year-old would make the step up to a bigger club. Arthur Zwane does need a winger of his profile, but he’ll need to improve his end product. Otladisa has yet to score in the DStv Premiership this term, but does have two assists from his 12 top-flight appearances.
