Brazil and Croatia have announced their starting XIs for a highly anticipated first quarter-final at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Both teams enter the game in good form, with Croatia being unbeaten in 10 successive games, while Brazil Brazil have lost just one of their last 19 games – the 1-0 group stage defeat to Cameroon when they were already qualified.

Apart from that hiccup, the Selecao have won 10 of their last 11 games, scoring 28 goals, while conceding just two.

Croatia, meanwhile, are one of four unbeaten teams in Qatar – the others being England, Morocco and Netherlands – but have also only collected one win in 90 minutes at the World Cup.

Both teams have met five times, with Brazil winning three, including their duels at the 2006 and 2014 World Cup, while two contests ended in draws.

Here is how they line up:

Brazil XI: Alisson, Militao, Marquinhos, Silva, Danilo, Casemiro, Paqueta, Neymar, Vinicius Jr, Raphinha, Richarlison

Croatia XI: Livakovic, Juranovic, Lovren, Gvardiol, Sosa, Modric, Brozovic, Kovacic, Pasalic, Kramaric, Perisic.
