Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Nyasha Mushekwi is having a season to remember at Zhejiang Greentown in China.
The Zimbabwean international has scored 16 goals this season and had three assists in 27 appearances so far, scoring six in his last six games.
The 35-year-old joined the club in July 2019 and started life in China with seven goals in his first 15 games when his side missed out on promotion.
However, last season he netted 23 times in 34 games to help Zhejiang gain promotion to the Super League, where he is now thriving this campaign.
The Zimbabwean international was on the books of Sundowns between 2010 and 2014, making 92 appearances during which he scored 30 goals and had five assists but was also loaned out twice.
Mushekwi has been enjoying his stay in China, having made 182 appearances in all competitions, scoring 105 goals after initially joining Dalian Professional after leaving Sundowns in 2016.
His current side Zhejiang are sitting in the top three of Chinese Super League with 55 points after 29 games. They are edging closer to qualifying for Asian Champions League.
