Richards Bay Eyeing Moseamedi? – iDiski Times

Richards Bay are casting their eyes over Judas Moseamedi as they look to replace out-bound forward Michael Gumede at the club.

Moseamedi, who spent the past season and a half at Stellenbosch, is believed to have left the Cape Winelands club on mutual terms, having only made six appearances this season, all off the substitutes bench.

iDiski Times has learnt that Moseamedi was at the Natal Rich Boyz training this week where coaches Pitso Dladla and Vasili Manousakis are monitoring him.

Manousakis and Moseamedi are no strangers to each other, having worked together at Cape Town City when Benni McCarthy was head coach, and when they won the MTN8 trophy in 2018/2019.

The club are believed to have parted ways with Michael Gumede and are looking to replace the former Golden Arrows forward who made just two appearances this season.

After spending three seasons at Arrows, Gumede had re-joined Richards Bay at the start of the season but struggled to break into the team, making just the two starts and only being on the bench in one other game.

Moseamedi had also been linked with a return to Maritzburg United.
