Ertugral – The Best Brazil Team In Years But…

Muhsin Ertugral believes that Brazil could be their own worst enemy at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Brazil currently top Group G with three points after the opening round of matches and are one of the favourites to lift the trophy with a star-studded side.

Ertugral has been sharing his input on the global showpiece in the iDiski Times newspaper, and in edition 81 is where he looks at his favourites.

The former Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs, Ajax Cape Town and Golden Arrows believes that the Samba boys are good offensively however questioned if they can work together defensively.

“The weak point is themselves, Brazil they’re playing against strategically also very close teams so that’s going to be decided on the day,” he said.

“Emotions, the individual stars, with Brazil anyone there can make the difference. Anyone any given time, any moment.

“It’s a great team but do they have the defensive structure to work with each other to take those punches that they are going to get, from teams like France? Obviously, when you see France’s line-up front do they have that discipline and the organisation formats to play such a team.

“Because just by names they know this is probably the best team they have had in years, but do they have the discipline to play as a fine-tuned orchestra which I see by France and by Holland.”
