Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena says he was left disappointed after a clash of words with former player Kermit Erasmus.
The 30-year-old left Masandawana on Deadline Day to join Orlando Pirates and has been a revelation for the Buccaneers since, helping them to lift the MTN8 trophy.
However, on Saturday it was his old side who trumped Pirates in the Carling Black Label Cup, with Erasmus having a clash of words with Mokwena as Tapelo Xoki walked off the pitch after receiving a red card.
Mokwena was seen shouting towards to the Pirates bench, with Erasmus also seemingly not mincing his words.

“It was disappointing, the tackle was not something one wants to see from an opponent and a career-threatening situation like that shouldn’t be applauded,” he told journalists.
“I’m just a little bit disappointed and disappointed in how he spoke to me.
“I just felt I didn’t deserve that, especially from him. That was my only… and maybe that’s why I feel in this moment bittersweet because I know what the club has done for him, what I personally have done for him.
“I don’t want to sit here and speak about some of the things but it’s ok and I suppose that’s what life is about.
“We take it on the chin and we move.”
