Sekhukhune United have announced the appointment of Brandon Truter as the new head coach to take over from Kaitano Tembo.
Truter joins Sekhukhune on a contract until 2025.
The former AmaZulu coach, Truter was amongst many coaches who were interviewed for the post.
This includes the likes of Marumo Gallants coach Dan Malesela, former Swallows coach Dylan Ker and John Maduka, formerly with Maritzburg United.
He will be assisted my MacDonald Makhubedu as the only assistant in a revamped technical team.
Meanwhile, former assistant coach Thabo Senong has been appointed head of development at Sekhukhune.
“It is with great honour to be appointed as head coach to this ambitious club,” said Truter after the announcement.
TRUTER DELIGHTED
“I’m hugely excited by the challenge ahead. There’s a lot of work ahead of us and I’m eager to get the ball rolling and start working with the players,” said Truter.
“I would like to thank the Chairman of the Club, Mr. Simon Malatji, and his Board for the confidence in me and I greatly appreciate the opportunity”
The club is set to make further announcements to be made in due course.
