PSL side Orlando Pirates have announced the passing of their former striker and Zimbabwean international, Tendai Ndoro, who played for the club between 2015 and 2017.

The club extended its heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.

“Orlando Pirates Football Club is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our former striker, @tendaindoro7 (2015–2017).

“The club extend heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time,” the club wrote on Instagram.

Born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, Ndoro rose to prominence with Chicken Inn in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League, where his prolific goal-scoring earned him widespread recognition.

His talent soon brought him to South Africa, first joining Mpumalanga Black Aces before sealing a move to Orlando Pirates in 2015.

During his time with the Buccaneers, Ndoro made 60 appearances across all competitions and scored 23 goals. His most memorable season came in 2016–17, when he netted 13 goals in the league.

Reports indicate that Ndoro passed away following a long battle with illness.
