Bonang Matheba partners with American Fashion accessory company Steve Madden

Bonang Matheba is topping the trends on Twitter after revealing that she had partnered with the famous American Fashion accessory company Steve Madden. She is the first African star to collaborate with American apparel, footwear, and accessory brand Steve Madden. Mzansi is jovial about Queen B’s wins, and they wish her well in her new endeavours.

The collaboration between Bonang and Steve Madden marks the brand’s 10th-anniversary celebration on the African continent.

Bonang’s Spring/ Summer collection comes just in time for the festive season and consists of six footwear options and two handbag styles.

Taking to Twitter, Steve Madden apparel shared that this collection highlights Bonangs style and celebrates South Africa’s summer season.

This collection epitomises the celebratory mood of a South African summer

The collections will be available from 6 November 2022, online and in-store. The official launch will occur in Cape Town at Zeitz Mocaa Museum on 7 November 2022.

Mzansi is happy that their girl Bonang Matheba represents them well internationally. A Twitterati commented:

Bonang Matheba’s other endorsement deals

In 2020 Queen B was nominated as ForbesAfrica’s 50 Most Powerful Women. In the wake of her nomination, she partnered with Woolworths and launched her luxury Méthode Cap Classique (MCC) called “The House of BNG.”

Her launch saw her becoming the first black woman to join MCC Association. Close sources have it she earns more from her endorsements which include:

  • Brand ambassador for Revlon – R5.5 million (Cosmetics)
  • Brand ambassador for Cîroc – R5.8million (Vodka)
  • African Brand Ambassador for Ipanema sandals – R5.2 million (clothing)
  • Cell C endorsement deal for “BMoji” – R3.5 million
  • South Africa’s ambassador for Samsung S20 and the Z Flip – R 6.4 million (cellphones)

Since hitting her jackpot in the entertainment industry, Bonang has been doing well in her career.
