Murdah Bongz drops his first solo album fuelling Black Motion splitting rumours

In July, Prince Kaybee took to Twitter to share that he is heartbroken by the split of Black Motion which people had mixed reactions about. Tweeps started assigning blame as usual, and much of it was on DJ Zinhle, who was accused of splitting the musical duo with her relationship with Murdah Bongz. Black Motion rubbished those rumours and shared with their fans that they were still together while promising to release projects. However, just three months afterwards, Murdah Bongz released a solo album named after his daughter with DJ Zinhle, Asante.

Taking to his social media accounts, Murdah Bongz announced that he dropped his solo album today. The album is called Mörda/Asante, which he has been promoting these past few days. The ten-track album has been welcomed by fans and received many positive reviews as it is an excellent body of work, according to fans.

The album. has ten great tracks, and Murdah Bongz featured many artists on his album to bring his fans good music. Musicians like Focalistic, Nkosazana Daughter, Brenden Praise and many more were featured in the album. Many fans who have already listened to the album claim that it is a banger and applaud Murdah for his great work.

The official Black Motion pages and Thabo, his band-mate, have helped promote the album, making people think they are still in good books. DJ Zinhle took to her socials to share her husband’s work with her fans and showed so much pride doing it. Many fans are unsure if Black Motion will drop a body of work together or if they are pursuing solo careers from now onwards, but for now, no one is complaining as they have been treated to an album.

The last time the two dropped an album together was in 2020 when they released The Healers: The Last Chapter. Fans assumed that the album’s name was a sign that Black Motion was parting ways, but the artists have rubbished those rumours and are said to be working on a project together. The two last performed together some time ago and enjoy getting bookings as solo acts in clubs and for shows all over the world.
