Lerato Sengadi, has posted a tribute to her late husband Jabulani “HHP” Tsambo on Instagram.
HHP, whose true name was Jabulani Tsambo, passed away in October 2018 at the age of 38.
The message comes on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of HHP’s passing.
Lerato praised the supporters of Jabba’s legacy on Instagram on the day that commemorated four years since the hip-hop pioneer’s passing.
“Time flies yet it also feels like it’s standing still. Every year when this day comes I choose to celebrate ur life & what you are to so many of us. Thank You to every single person who loves & still supports Jabba. His legacy is in our hands. Motho wa Motho… you already know what it is! Ka pelo le moya! ” wrote Sengadi.
An emotional ode to hip hop legend “HHP was also shared by South Africa’s top bass player Aus Tebza, real name Tebogo Sedumedi, who worked extensively with the star when he was alive.
She wrote ” I continued to weep about your passing for a solid 23 days. (I still do time and again) I miss you dearly. I miss our chats and talking about our dreams and what the future holds. You were one of a kind. Those that got to experience you like I did, can attest to that. Continue to rest my Motshobi wa Tsholo wa lejelathoks ( he knows what I mean )
