SuperSport United striker Thamsanqa Gabuza has laughed off claims he celebrated his goal against Royal AM by blowing kisses to owner Shauwn ‘Ma’ Mkhize.
Gabuza had netted his side’s opener in their 3-1 win over Royal AM in the beginning of October and was seen blowing kisses to the stands afterwards.
With MaMkhize being present in the stands, it had been claimed the 35-year-old was blowing kisses towards her, but he has now laughed off those suggestions.
“It’s just a celebration, nothing much,” he said, while laughing, during SSU’s media day.
“Just a celebration for the fans, you see I was blowing kisses for the fans.”

When asked again whether those kisses were not for Mkhize, Gabuza insisted they were for the club’s supporters.
“No, no, it’s for the fans, it’s for SuperSport,” he concluded.
Gabuza has scored twice this season so far, helping Gavin Hunt’s men to climb into third place on the log after winning six out of their last seven DStv Premiership games.
With 20 points from 11 games, they sit five points behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns ahead of their fixture against Swallows FC on Sunday – which will be the club’s last game ahead of the FIFA World Cup break.
