South African Influencer and businesswoman Gugu Khathi, famously known for being DJ Tira’s wife, has been in the headlines lately. Recently there were rumours that the couple was separated and heading for divorce. They both put the words to rest and continued showing each other love. Today Gugu Khathi is celebrating her birthday, and her fans are shocked to learn of her age and how younger she is than her husband.

Taking to Instagram, Gugu Khathi shared that today is her birthday and gave herself some essential pointers on how to enjoy each day. Many people were in her comment section wishing her a happy birthday, including Qwabe Twins, K Naomi, Nomcebo Zikode and many more. In the mix of things, fans learned that the actress is celebrating 32 years of age as she was born in 1990. This raised the question of how old DJ Tira is as he does not look like he is in his 30s.

During her birthday celebrations last year, the socialite had fans surprised that she was only 31. Many tweeps could not believe that she was that young as they claimed she looked older than her age. Her husband, DJ Tira, on the other hand, is 46 years of age which makes him 14 years older than his wife. Many people laughed at their age differences and asked if DJ Tira groomed her like he does other young artists in the game, like the Qwabe twins.

However, the age difference is not a big thing in the entertainment industry as they are not the only couple with a big one. Some, like Mampintsha and Babes Wodumo, have also stood the test of time. Also, Gugu is not DJ Tira’s first wife, as he was married for two years to Lale Ngcobo before they called it quits. With Gugu, they have been together for over nine years now and still serve couple goals.
