Orlando Pirates have confirmed that tickets for the upcoming Soweto Derby have been sold out.
The Buccaneers will host Amakhosi at the FNB Stadium on Saturday 15:30, with both teams only separated by one point on the log.
The match will be eagerly awaited by both fan bases, as it will ensure bragging rights ahead of the FIFA World Cup break.
This weekend’s fixtures, including the Soweto Derby will be the last round of DStv Premiership fixtures before the season breaks until 30 December.
And fans seem eager to see their teams for a last time before the league breaks, with tickets being sold out four days ahead of the match.
It will be the first Soweto derby with a full crowd since the beginning of Covid 19. Last season, Chiefs won both derbies, in fact Pirates, last win over Amakhosi dates back to January 2021.
