‘Well done my baby’ Mzansi unimpressed with Thembi Seete’s judging skills

Thembi Seete is a heavyweight entertainer with a cabinet of awards to show for it; nevertheless, Mzansi is unimpressed with her judging skills. Although she is a jack of all trades Idols, SA viewers suggest that judging is not for her as she repeats the exact words repeatedly. She lacks expertise and neglects to give contractive criticism to the contestants. She shows the contestants some positive vibes even when their performance is not on point; she avoids delivering technical skills that contestants need to apply to be better singers. Thembi has curved a new nickname for herself, ‘Well Done My Baby’.

After Idols SA aired its latest episode at Heartfelt Arena in Pretoria, Mzansi took to Twitter to analyse Thembi Seete’s judging facility. Idols SA viewers were honest that Thembi is doing well as Gladys on Gomora; however, she is failing to hit the jackpot as a judge, and many hope she will not return in season 19.

Thembi Seete joined Idols SA during season 18; she was no stranger to the judge’s chair as she had been a guest judge before. After joining Idols SA as a full-time judge for season 18, the heavyweight entertainer seems to be struggling to impress Mzansi. During her first appearances on the show, many gave her the benefit of the doubt as they hoped she would pull up her socks and become a better judge. Well, all hope is lost as Thembi’s judging skills are not improving, and Mzansi has already labelled her a bad judge.

Mzansi blasts Thembi Seete for her horrible judging skills

Besides not assisting the contestants with good musical technics, Thembi Seete is also being trolled for copying other judges’ comments. When judging, Sis Tay takes notes from her co-judges, avoiding giving her own point of view about the performance. If JR Bogopa and Somizi are not impressed with the interpretation that the contestant delivered, Thembi will follow suit.

When Thembi is given the platform to be the  lead judge, she will always say:

Well done, my baby. You are looking good. What an excellent performance!

Mzansi no longer takes her judging seriously and always pays attention to Somizi and JR. They understand the assignment of being a judge and are doing wonders in their task.

Although Thembi has been labelled a bad judge, she brings some positive vibes to the judging panel. She is showing Mzansi flames with her excellent fashion sense, making viewers love to hate her.
