Mamelodi Sundowns ran riot again against Seychelles side La Passe in the CAF Champions League, beating them 8-1 on the night to make it 15-1 on aggregate.

Thapelo Morena opened the scoring for Sundowns in the seventh minute, putting the ball into the back of the net after a fine cross from, Gaston Sirino.

La Passe got on the scoresheet in the 36th minute following a brilliant header by Florent Rajaoniasy, but just a minute later Downs got back into the lead thanks to a brilliant back heel goal by Cassius Mailula.

Mailula completed his brace just before the break, after being at the end of a cross in the 44th minute.

Sundowns took the foot of the gas in the second half until Gift Motupa made it 4-1 in the 70th minute.

Hashim Domingo netted his side’s fifth in the 76th minute, beating the La Passe goalkeeper with an acrobatic volley.

Neo Maema scored the 6-1 just two minutes later, as Masandawana upped the ante in the final 20 minutes.

The La Passe goalkeeper netted an own-goal in the 86th minute after Mailula was denied a hat-trick by the crossbar but the rebound bounced off the keeper into his own net.

Motupa completed his brace in injury-time to make it 8-1 on the night and 15-1 on aggregate.
