Chippa United have announced the addition of three players, who were previously with the Chilli Boys already.
The Eastern Cape-based side confirmed the re-signing of goalkeeper, Masizakhe Myataza, who completed his return after recently parting ways with Cape Town All Stars before its rebranding and relocation to Gauteng as All Stars FC, as reported by iDiski Times.
In addition, Chippa also brought midfield duo Ayabulela Konqobe and Meshack Maphangule back. Konqobe, as reported by iDiski Times, will return for his third spell with Chippa after 2017 to 2019 and during 2020/21 season. Overall, he’s made 36 appearances for the Chilli Boys so far.
Meanwhile, Maphangule was on loan at Chippa from Orlando Pirates during the 2018/19 season already, making 26 appearances, and was last on the books of Pretoria Callies.
All three players will be available for selection against Kaizer Chiefs this weekend, the club confirmed.
