Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has stated that Khama Billiat has returned to team training, while Itumeleng Khune will miss Saturday’s game against Chippa United.

The Glamour Boys have picked up three successive wins in the DStv Premiership to climb into fourth place and will face the Chilli Boys at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.

Zwane gave a brief update on his squad during Thursday’s media day, saying, while Khune will remain sidelined, others like Billiat and Happy Mashiane returned to training and George Matlou and Zitha Kwinika return following their suspensions.

“Khama, we’ll monitor him today. We will see if he’s ready to play,” he told reporters.

“Itu, is not going to be available for this week’s game. Hopefully, going forward he will get much better.

“If my memory serves me well, we’re welcoming George and Zitha back from suspension.

“Happy is been battling a little bit, but he started training two days ago, so we’re also managing him.

“I think at the moment we have a clean bill of health, we’re just hoping that we’ll keep it this way. We hope that if we do have injuries, maybe we’ll have one or a few knocks, or maybe two injuries, because at this time in the season you need everybody available so you get the chemistry right.”

Chiefs beat Chippa 3-1 and 4-0 last season and have won five out go their last six clashes with the Eastern-Cape side. The match in Durban will kick off at 17:30. Tickets are available at Shoprite (also grab a free iDiski Times newspaper at Shoprite stores in Gauteng) and Computicket.com.
